There is a DIN standard for calculating the size of radiators for hot water heating systems, but not for radiant heating systems. The required size must be determined using the room sizes depending on the intended use (living, sleeping, child, guest, bathroom, etc.).

If the DIN of hot water convection heating is used for the calculation of radiant heating according to the rules of thermodynamics, incorrect values will result. Radiant heating systems are subject to quantum physical calculations according to the Steffen-Bolzmann formula.

There you can read off the required size of the heating elements with one click and click on the „To the offer request“ and enter the number of units in the request list.

Please note: Be generous, because a larger heater does not consume more. It switches off correspondingly earlier. However, you are on the safe side when outside temperatures are low. The price differences between the sizes are minimal.

The choice is also uncritical because infrared heating can be adapted extremely flexibly to the heating requirements of the residents.
