There is a DIN standard for calculating the size of radiators for hot water heating systems, but not for radiant heating systems. The required size must be determined using the room sizes depending on the intended use (living, sleeping, child, guest, bathroom, etc.).
If the DIN of hot water convection heating is used for the calculation of radiant heating according to the rules of thermodynamics, incorrect values will result. Radiant heating systems are subject to quantum physical calculations according to the Steffen-Bolzmann formula.
To help you select the required heaters, please refer to the table on the side of this page. “Calculation of the heating sizes”. There you can read off the required size of the heating elements with one click and click on the „To the offer request“ and enter the number of units in the request list.
Please note: Be generous, because a larger heater does not consume more. It switches off correspondingly earlier. However, you are on the safe side when outside temperatures are low. The price differences between the sizes are minimal.
The choice is also uncritical because infrared heating can be adapted extremely flexibly to the heating requirements of the residents.

010-OT-Infrared-Heating-Standardelement 600 Watt without Thermostat
This is the smallest and cheapest AbegSun heater. It has no thermostat and no built-in radio receiver. It is designed to be integrated into an existing smart home system. The Smart Home switch for switching the heater on/off can be mounted on top of the aluminum housing of the heater and connected with the supplied Wago click terminals.
Caution - infrared heating should not be operated without thermostat control for energy reasons!
011-OT-Infrared heating standard element 900 Watt without thermostat
This heater has no thermostat and no built-in radio receiver. It is intended to be integrated into an existing Smart Home system. The actuator of the on-site smart home system must be installed as described above for product 010.
Caution - infrared heating should not be operated without thermostat control for energy reasons!
012-OT Infrared heating standard element 1200 Watt without thermostat
This heater has no thermostat and no built-in radio receiver. It is intended to be integrated into an existing Smart Home system. The actuator of the on-site smart home system must be installed as described above for product 010.

Wall heater with approx. 2.5 m mains cable and plug thermostat for the wall socket. - This wall heater is very easy to operate and install with a thermostat that can be plugged into any wall socket.

The fact that the thermostat is supplied as a mobile device means that the temperature can be controlled flexibly from anywhere in the room. You don't have to go to the socket to set the temperature.

080-STS-SET Plug switch set with separate thermostat
The plug switch is plugged into a 230 V power socket. The mains cable of the infrared heater is plugged into the socket of the plug switch.
Danach wird der mobile The mobile thermostat is then held close to the plug until the two devices have connected (paired). This separate thermostat has the advantage that the temperature can be controlled from anywhere in the room without having to go to the socket. However, it is not possible to control the heating via a weekly program with this device.
081-FTS-SET Radio thermostat set with radio switch
This set consists of a mobile thermostat with a small base and a radio switch (also known as an actuator). The actuator is permanently installed in the AbegSun infrared heaters. The SET is installed as standard in all AbegSun infrared heaters from article number 020. It can be controlled manually or via a weekly program
082-EAW-SET On/off radio switch set with additional radio switch
This switch with radio receiver can be used to switch a light source that is not part of the infrared heating element on or off in a room. Any lighting can thus be switched independently of the infrared heating.
The switch can be mounted on the wall (usually next to the door) or used as a mobile unit. It does not require batteries.
083-EAS switch On/Off radio wall switch, single
The switch for a room input and output is supplied as standard with every LED heating element.
This additional switch is required if the living room has several inputs and outputs. The LED lighting of the infrared heating can be switched from an additional input. This then provides the same radio signal as the switch, which is already present as standard on delivery and has been installed on the wall next to another door in the room.
